Abisinthe Amer is distilled in Fougerolles, France in one of the original absinthe-producing distilleries (founded in 1811).

This is the product that many absinthe lovers have been waiting for! Abisinthe Amer is a distilled absinthe with a significant wormwood aroma and with no added sugar. It is classified as a "bitter" spirit, which means it can have three times the amount of thujone in a "normal" absinthe.
