Absinthe Duplais won gold medal and best in class at the 2006 IWSC and is the first 'verte' to be produced in Switzerland following its legalization in 2005. It is distilled in the Matter-Luginbuhl distillery following a recipe based directly on the absinthe' Suisse' protocols from the 19th century French distillers manual, 'Traité des Liqueurs et de la Distillation des Alcools' by P. Duplais. After distillation it is naturally colored using aromatic plants. Judges at the IWSC referred to it in their tasting notes as 'A magnificent product, with massive power, yet well controlled, long, everlasting finish'. Try for yourself!
