Two historic 19th century aperitifs are fused together to create this tasty new cocktail, Kallnacher Red Absinthe Bitter. Its base is a recipe dating from 1864 - Italian Bitter of Turin - made from an infusion of 12 aromatic herbs and roots, which is blended with a genuine Swiss absinthe distillate creating something new and exciting. The wormwood gives It a pleasant bitter taste which is complemented by a bright sweet anise kick. Try straight, mixed with citrus soda or pour over ice in a long glass and add sparkling water.
