Since the return of the green fairy, absinthe professionals and enthusiasts have been getting together in Pontarlier at a special event, the ‘Absinthiades’ to celebrate quality French and Suisse absinthe.  Bernard Blier Theatre  Absinthe bar in The Bernard Blier Municipal Theatre  Guy distillery in Pontarlier The Bernard Blier Municipal Theatre, in Pontarlier is the centre of the absinthiades activity housing exhibitions and tastings, and the surrounding distilleries open their doors to the public.  The professional tasters at work Top names from the absinthe world regularly attend and many are invited to blind taste a selection of absinthe, with the ultimate accolade going to the absinthe with most points. The tasting takes place over three days with different tasting panels each day; VIPs, the public and absinthe professionals. The La Fée Absinthe XS range came out on top with La Fée XS Suisse being awarded most points over all and winning the ‘Absinthiades Golden Spoon Award’ while La Fée XS Française received silver and highest scores in the French category.
