La Clandestine has to be one of the finest Swiss 'La Bleue' absinthes from the Val-de-Travers region. Dating back to 1935 this Clandestine absinthe was enjoyed illegally, and is believed to be one of the first to gain a legal license when the ban in Switzerland was lifted in 2005. It boasts 100% natural ingredients, is completely traditional and is completely clear until water is added when it "louches" (turns cloudy) beautifully.
